I've been doing live visuals at these parties sponsored by Vice Magazine, Colt 45 and Mishka that are free and happen at Glasslands in Williamsburg. The next one is on Saturday. CLICK HERE AND RSVP. I said it's free right? New Yorkers should come out.

I also VJ'd last week at Impose Magazine's monthly Test Patterns party. There are photos and a story HERE.

Finally, on September 5th I'm VJing beneath the High Line Park in Manhattan. It's the new, beautiful, elevated park that's been created on the old train tracks in the Meatpacking District. Specifically, it's happening at 502 West 25th street between 10th and 11th Avenues. If you go to one show ever, please make it this one. These Are Powers, Ecstatic Sunshine, Grooms, Smith Westerns and Knight School are playing! Here's the facebook event thing.

In the world of not-so-live vidz, I am:

- STILL working on a These Are Powers music video. I am months behind and feel bad about this.

- Just shot a Dinowalrus music video. I am wearing their t-shirt in the above photo.

- Shooting and editing more episodes of The Creepy Touch. Next up: Jon Langford of The Mekons, the Mad Decent block party in Philadelphia and Suckers. Then maybe Cerebral Ballzy?

- JUST MADE a jam DVD with some of my stuff and some very excellent animated GIF images by Inés Estrada A.K.A. Inechi for an art show she's having in Mexico City! Whoa! I am super stoked for this and mailing the disc out tomorrow morning. I want to DVD jam with more people. If you make visuals or animations or animated GIFs let's do this.

- Still no real job! A whole summer with no real job! I apply to several jobs a day and I think of it like writing letters to Santa Claus. Not because it's magical, more like some morlock in a basement somewhere gets my resumé and shovels it into a furnace along with all the other resumés. That's where your letters to Santa went.
